TechAMP 2026 -2027 Program: Application Deadline August 7, 2026

The Technologist Advanced Manufacturing Program (TechAMP) is a 12-month certificate curriculum designed by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s (MIT) LEAP Group.

Designed by MIT Leap Group and delivered locally through the Berkshire Innovation Center - and other regional partners - TechAMP is a 12-month professional certificate progra that helps experienced technicians and operators become confident, high-impact manufacturing leaders.  

The program bridges the gap between the shop floor and engineering by developing technical, analytical, and leadership capabilities.

Thanks to current grant fund, TechAMP is completely free for participating employers and students furing the 2026-2027 program year.  This is expected to be the final year the program will be offered at no cost, making now the ideal time to invest in your workforce.

The Berkshire Innovation Center is now accepting nominations for the Fall 2026 TechAMP cohort and we invite you to consider nominating an employee who is ready to take the next step in their career.
